Rockmelon Petit gris de melo

 This variety is early and well adapted to cool climates the fruit has orange flesh that is superbly sweet, flavorful, and perfumed. This fine French variety is of the best quality and is the favorite melon of the French melon expert and author Bruno Defay. A very old French heirloom that was first noted in a bishop’s garden in Rennes, France over 400 years ago. Still popular today because of its sublime flavour and fragrance. We found the vine to be compact and the fruit small making it the perfect melon for most suburban gardens. It also performs well in areas with cooler summers. Harvest in 12 weeks; yields fruits around 1-1.2kg
