Pumpkin Crookneck

(Cucurbita moschata) 

Crooknecks are highly productive and similar in taste to a butternut. 

The long, curved and seed free section makes this pumpkin well worth the space it takes to grow in the veggie patch.

Just like its Butternut relative, it has a sweet orange flesh and nutty flavour but with a handy ‘crookneck’ to help carry it out of the garden and into the kitchen.
