The honey was mixed with the herbal powder making it thick. The taste is more savoury, slightly bitter like medicine. This is the best way to get take medicine, in honey preserves. It does make me feel relaxed, as I have perimenopausal symptoms. The taste is acquired, but you still get the honey sweetness afterwards. I would recommend it melted into tea, instead of being eaten by the spoon
The honey from GF is absolutely delicious and fresh; this one has tumeric because it's supposed to be good for arthritis, which I have. I love the grainy texture as well as the slightly less sweet taste. I also love the soaps that GF make, they feel wonderfully soft, unlike commercial soaps and look very lovely (I got the beginner pack and the soaps had a small bee stamp.Beautiful.
