This Agastache boasts compact plants with strong, upright stems. The plants have outstanding heat and drought tolerance. They are suitable for both gardens and pots.
The leaves of Agastache has a strong mint - anise fragrance. This is strongest when brushed up against, so if you like it, plant it by a pathway.
The flowers of Agastache have the same fragrance as the foliage. Dead head flowers regularly to encourage more blooms.
Tolerant of poor soils so long as they are well drained, Agastache are ideal for providing long lasting colour as a dry garden or border plant.
Agastache need water to establish, then only really need topping up if rainfall is low. However, the flowering season will last longer if the plant is kept moist.
We recommend you cut back your Agastache to the ground in winter to maintain a healthy, dense bush.
